Phil Haberman (GI Jerk) Sends Threatening Emails to Bloggers via US Army Email; Haberman No Longer is in the Army

Phil Haberman, appropriately named GI Jerk by Glenna Whitley of The Dallas Observer, has been real busy lately. 'Ole Phil has been sending emails via a United States Army email account (Haberman is no longer in the Army) to bloggers telling them "you are in violation of a court order by posting reference to myself and my ew (sic) wife on your homepage? As you see you are clearly aiding in the commission of a felony, and I dont (sic) think you want to have the civil or criminial (sic) reprocussions (sic) as a result of that action. I also find it interesting how I ended up on YOUR site when I was only married to her. It seems that those she has manipulated into believing her grand tales take ONLY her side and have not once spoken to me. Again, I hope you will remove all references immediately to avoid any legal issues that will arise if failure to do so results".

See the email sent by Haberman to this site at the end of this article with full headers. I have some news for Haberman. The order he refers to is a Florida State order. It has no jurisdiction in any other state, nor does it have jurisdiction over the Internet. To have any bloggers' story removed about Haberman would have to be heard in the US District Court and defamation would have to be proven.

Although, Haberman may or may not be a bigamist, it is my opinion that he is a con man, a fake, a fraud, a liar, a sociopath, and one of those guys you never want to meet. While he was married to Kristen Rhoad, he proposed to at least one other woman. He's had two children during his marriage to Kristen. He's scammed one woman out of $5,000, dating her while married to Kristen. He has been known to advertise himself on dating sites including Match.com. BEWARE.

Haberman has made many bogus claims, including being a member of Army Special Forces, a “combat tactical expert, ”a trained sniper, a Force Reconnaissance Marine, a “crypto-linguist," an "underwater specialist," an “In-Water Trauma Medic,” and a “weapons specialist,”. He was also an actor with numerous small roles, including an appearance on the television series JAG, as well as some movies.

Rhoad was sued in 2006 under the Florida cyberstalking law for posting her Blog, Rhoad Warrior, on Blogger.com. Keep in mind Kristen Rhoad has never lived in Florida, and she was sued for telling the truth. She was ordered to remove her Blog and all 240 plus other stories that appeared on the Internet. Kristen's Blog was removed due to the judge's decision, and all her her blogs, including her MySpace page were removed except her new Rhoad Warrior site. The judge, Robert Bennett, chief judge of Florida's twelfth judicial circuit court, ruled on a First Amendment matter without even seeing the evidence Kristen had to present to the court.

Kristen refused and has a warrant for her arrest in Florida. Haberman never said the contents of Kristen's Blog was untrue, just that it "embarrassed him and ruined his reputation". How can the truth ruin a made-up reputation?

Are you aware that you are in violation of a court order by posting reference to myself and my ew wife on your homepage?  I need a fax number to send you that court order to have all aritcles removed so she is in compliance with said order. I also need your address to mail you a hard certified copy of the court order. Those who are assisting her are going to have aiding in the commission of a felony charged to them as well.

§784.048 Stalking; definitions; penalties. 1997. Amended 2003

(4) Any person who, after an injunction for protection against repeat violence or dating violence pursuant to s. 784.046, or an injunction for protection against domestic violence pursuant to s. 741.30, or after any other court-imposed prohibition of conduct toward the subject person or that person's property, knowingly, willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follows, harasses, or cyberstalks another person commits the offense of aggravated stalking, a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

As you see above, you are clearly aiding in the commission of a felony, and I dont think you want to have the civil or criminial reprocussions as a result of that action. Thank you for your posting of GI JERK. All of my blogs were removed, including my MySpace and Yahoo accounts.

Haberman recently had Irritated Vet, Vast Right Wing, Fighter and a few other blogs and comments removed from the Internet. He has threatened POWnetwork, Dallas Observer, Las Vegas Review Journal and Lovefraud, but they remain online. Where this insanity stops, nobody knows.

Eventually Haberman will removed his name from the entire Internet and pretend that his actions never existed. Haberman even threatens people from speaking about him in public.

Haberman is enlisted now with the Tampa, Florida Air National Guard as a Corporal. How he obtained that rank is another mystery. Occasionally, I receive e-mails from various branches of the military commenting on their disgust of Haberman. He has stained the military's reputation of honor, valor and truth.

Haberman has a female police officer assisting him with his protection in (Miami), while she sends me personal threats.

Be prepared for this site to be removed, as Haberman is intent on removing all content about him, even your personal comments (which is a violation of your First Amendment) to any story on him.

I will keep you posted as several developments are occuring.

Actually, Haberman was a Marine before he was kicked out of the Corps with an OTH. Then he went Army where he later was also kicked out with an OTH. Now how many people do you know with not just one, but 2 Other Than Honorable discharges? He really IS special!

It is ludicrous that a con artist, and clearly one that lies can threaten other people and NOT get charged with threatening people. This is so hard to contemplate that he actually CONNED a Judge and the JUDGE clearly violated his duty by not listening to the WHOLE story. This jerk needs to be stopped!
