NY Man Lives Up to His Last Name
Michael Husband, the northern New York man has admitted he forged a judge's name on
divorce documents so he could get married for the second time. While in a Plattsburgh court yesterday, the 22-year-old former Army
recruiter said he forged a local judge's signature in an effort to
dissolve his first marriage so he and his second bride could elope. He was charged with bigamy, offering a false instrument for filing, forgery and unlawful dissolution of marriage. Husband says the second woman he married in 2005 was pregnant at the time. His illegal second marriage didn't become known until last year when
the couple had a court battle over the custody of their daughter. Husband is no longer with either wife. From WCAX-TV
