Michael Lee Henderson Man Pleads Guilty to Bigamy

Michael Lee Henderson pleaded guilty to one count of bigamy just before noon Wednesday in the Dodge County, MN Courthouse. Henderson was arrested in Racine, Wisconsin on a Dodge County warrant late last month.

According to the criminal complaint, Henderson married his first wife in Wisconsin thirteen years ago. He later met a woman in Rochester and married her in Mantorville about a year ago.

The judge asked Henderson why he pleaded guilty today, Henderson said "Cause I was wrong for doing what I did." The judge then asked if he had any other wives out there.  Henderson said no.

But it's not a joking matter for the victims. Reporter, Crystal Oko, talked with the Rochester woman after court today (Henderson's second wife). She has asked us not to name her but she says she's hurt.

Now the pre-sentencing investigation will begin.
