Keron Wilkins Charged With Bigamy in North Carolina

Police have charged a man with bigamy after one of his wives called police. Keron Wilkins, 31, has been charged with one felony count of bigamy. One of his wives called police Monday and said she had discovered her husband of about six weeks is married to another woman.

The names of the women have not been released.Police confirmed Wilkin; is married to another woman and they live in Clayton. The couple had married in 2000 in Virginia. Wilkins other wife had married him in Wake County in March.

Wilkins and the newer wife shared home in Cary. They have no children, but Wilkins has a son with the wife in Clayton.Police are investigating to see if he is married to any other women. The only criminal record he has is a couple of previous traffic violations.
