My mother Barbara and I were both interviewed in the episode, and I would love to hear opinions.

Hello Julia, I have just watched the programme which features this and am appalled at such callousness, selfishness and evilness. I feel so sorry for your mother and the other victims. I went through a similar thing for years and would like to discuss it with you. If interested please write to me at rychhmo@aol.com. Take care.

I was shocked when I heard the name Oliver Killeen.
I think it was around 1973 when I first met Oliver K. I had rented my Condo to this fellow. I had gone thru a realtor because I didn't want to rent to a dead-beat. So...the nice man, a widower with a couple of children was suppose to move in.
I ended up with a real dead-beat with 8 kids. The story was that Oliver was working/or was the Manager at some bar in Toronto. He had been pushed down the stairs at work and had filed a claim with the Ontario Compensation Board for people hurt through crime or something. I can't think of the name right now. Anyway to make a long story short. He never paid me a cent rent. He come home drunk and kicked or punched holes in the condo. walls near the elevator and made a terrible mess of my place. I wrote the City, the welfare office etc in Mississauga to get someone to help me get rid of him. I felt sorry for his little kids. The Board of Directors at the Condo were always calling us about him and the kids. I wrote the Compensation Board to find out when his money was coming in but was told I couldn't touch any of it. Finally after a year he moved out. I had to hire someone to come in and clean the place. I think we just threw the fridge out it was ruined. I sold the condo and never rented a place out again. After seeing that show last night I guess we got off easy.
