Phil Haberman (GI Jerk) Sends Threatening Emails to Bloggers via US Army Email; Haberman No Longer is in the Army

Phil Haberman, appropriately named GI Jerk by Glenna Whitley of The Dallas Observer, has been real busy lately. 'Ole Phil has been sending emails via a United States Army email account (Haberman is no longer in the Army) to bloggers telling them "you are in violation of a court order by posting reference to myself and my ew (sic) wife on your homepage? As you see you are clearly aiding in the commission of a felony, and I dont (sic) think you want to have the civil or criminial (sic) reprocussions (sic) as a result of that action. I also find it interesting how I ended up on YOUR site when I was only married to her. It seems that those she has manipulated into believing her grand tales take ONLY her side and have not once spoken to me. Again, I hope you will remove all references immediately to avoid any legal issues that will arise if failure to do so results".

See the email sent by Haberman to this site at the end of this article with full headers. I have some news for Haberman. The order he refers to is a Florida State order. It has no jurisdiction in any other state, nor does it have jurisdiction over the Internet. To have any bloggers' story removed about Haberman would have to be heard in the US District Court and defamation would have to be proven.

Although, Haberman may or may not be a bigamist, it is my opinion that he is a con man, a fake, a fraud, a liar, a sociopath, and one of those guys you never want to meet. While he was married to Kristen Rhoad, he proposed to at least one other woman. He's had two children during his marriage to Kristen. He's scammed one woman out of $5,000, dating her while married to Kristen. He has been known to advertise himself on dating sites including Match.com. BEWARE.

Haberman has made many bogus claims, including being a member of Army Special Forces, a “combat tactical expert, ”a trained sniper, a Force Reconnaissance Marine, a “crypto-linguist," an "underwater specialist," an “In-Water Trauma Medic,” and a “weapons specialist,”. He was also an actor with numerous small roles, including an appearance on the television series JAG, as well as some movies.

Rhoad was sued in 2006 under the Florida cyberstalking law for posting her Blog, Rhoad Warrior, on Blogger.com. Keep in mind Kristen Rhoad has never lived in Florida, and she was sued for telling the truth. She was ordered to remove her Blog and all 240 plus other stories that appeared on the Internet. Kristen's Blog was removed due to the judge's decision, and all her her blogs, including her MySpace page were removed except her new Rhoad Warrior site. The judge, Robert Bennett, chief judge of Florida's twelfth judicial circuit court, ruled on a First Amendment matter without even seeing the evidence Kristen had to present to the court.

Kristen refused and has a warrant for her arrest in Florida. Haberman never said the contents of Kristen's Blog was untrue, just that it "embarrassed him and ruined his reputation". How can the truth ruin a made-up reputation?

Are you aware that you are in violation of a court order by posting reference to myself and my ew wife on your homepage?  I need a fax number to send you that court order to have all aritcles removed so she is in compliance with said order. I also need your address to mail you a hard certified copy of the court order. Those who are assisting her are going to have aiding in the commission of a felony charged to them as well.

§784.048 Stalking; definitions; penalties. 1997. Amended 2003

(4) Any person who, after an injunction for protection against repeat violence or dating violence pursuant to s. 784.046, or an injunction for protection against domestic violence pursuant to s. 741.30, or after any other court-imposed prohibition of conduct toward the subject person or that person's property, knowingly, willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follows, harasses, or cyberstalks another person commits the offense of aggravated stalking, a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

As you see above, you are clearly aiding in the commission of a felony, and I dont think you want to have the civil or criminial reprocussions as a result of that action. I also find it interesting how I ended up on YOUR site when I was only married to her. Lovefraud.com teaches people to recognize and avoid sociopaths

Sometimes love is a con. When Donna Andersen of Atlantic City, New Jersey, married James Montgomery of Australia, he said he was a war hero and entrepreneur. Montgomery then defrauded Andersen of $227,000, cheated on her and committed bigamy. Andersen came to believe that her glib, charismatic husband was a sociopath. She learned there may be 3 million sociopaths in the United States, and most people have no idea of how destructive they are. So Andersen launched www.lovefraud.com to educate the public.

Lovefraud.com marks its first year of service in July, 2006, and now gets approximately 12,000 visits per month. Every day, Lovefraud receives e-mail from people seeking help in dealing with sociopaths in their lives. More than 100 people have sent in stories of how they've been devastated by these predators.

"Sociopaths are much more common than people realize," Andersen says. "The goal of Lovefraud.com is to help people recognize the red flags and get away before it's too late."

A sociopath, also called a psychopath, has no conscience, no empathy and no remorse. People typically assume that all sociopaths are depraved serial killers like Ted Bundy. In fact, the vast majority of sociopaths never kill anyone. Sociopaths appear to be normal and blend easily into society. But they steal from their mothers, beat their wives, abandon their children, defraud senior citizens and bilk employers—all without a twinge of regret.

Experts estimate that one percent of the North American population are sociopaths. They are found in all segments of society—rich, poor, male, female, all races, all communities. Sociopaths are fluent liars and brazen con artists. They cannot be rehabilitated.

Lovefraud.com draws upon the work of Dr. Robert Hare, an international expert on this personality disorder (he prefers the term "psychopath"). Hare and Dr. Paul Babiak recently published "Snakes in Suits—When Psychopaths Go To Work." The book includes a sidebar about Lovefraud.com.

Andersen's website describes the key symptoms of a sociopath, how to spot a con, and how to leave a sociopath. A quiz tells users how likely they are to be a target. The Lovefraud Risk Calculator enables users to plug in their zip codes and learn how many sociopaths may live in their communities.

Lovefraud.com also presents True Lovefraud Stories—actual case studies. Scott Peterson was convicted of murdering his wife and unborn child. "Bishop" Anthony Owens was married to eight women at the same time. Michelle Drake pretended to be pregnant with triplets to commit fraud. They all exhibited sociopathic behavior.

One of the case studies is James Montgomery–Andersen's ex-husband. Working with an Australian organization that investigates military frauds, she exposed his deceit. All of Montgomery's military claims and credentials were forged. The story was picked up by Australian media, and Montgomery lost his university job.

"That was satisfying," Andersen says. "But knowing that Lovefraud is helping people every day is even more satisfying."

American Women With Resolve Take Out British Con Man

An American with a Ph.D in psychology, Kim Adams, fell in love with a handsome Englishman, Robert Freegard, who told her he was a British agent--like James Bond.

Kim was abducted by Freegard, but a heroic measure from her own mother and a London-based FBI agent, Jackie Zappacosta, saved her.

The FBI agent also discovered the con man had used his charisma on other women victims. They were all educated, accomplished women.

Freegard was nothing more than a con man who had at least ten victims and those victims became totally under his power---what is commonly referred to as Stockholm Syndrome. Read more in Dateline's report.

Another Con Man Busted: Rick Kudlik

Pam Brown, victim of a married, lying cheater, Rick Kudlik of Long Island, sees some justice now. Pam has exposed yet another predator. Brown got her revenge by exposing him on the Internet. Major New York City newspapers and TV stations picked up the story and it has hit the AP Wires.

And to add one more nail to the predator's coffin, she and other women who dated this cyberpath were able to pull together to have him arrested this week. The crime--Kudlik was posing as a U.S. Marshall. Ironically, the imposter was arrested by the real U.S. Marshals!

UK Policewoman Lucky to be Jilted at Alter by Policeman Who Was Already Married

Disgraced Shropshire policeman Carlton Relf jilted a woman at the altar when he cancelled their wedding at the last minute, it emerged today.

Police officer Sally-Ann Haynes told today how Relf cancelled their marriage on their wedding day after lying to her about a family illness. Haynes, a 28-year-old West Mercia police officer based in Shropshire, said it had been Relf who had pushed for their wedding to go ahead, despite still being married at the time, and it would have been bigamy.

Haynes described Relf as “manipulative, devious and unpredictable” and the “most jealous person” she had ever met. She said she had had “a lucky escape”.

She said they lived at her home in Mid Wales, although he had a property in Chirk, which he was said to be doing up. Money was taken from her account to pay for the work. Most had now been repaid, but £7,000 had been spent on the wedding plans.

Relf had a relationship with police telephonist Sophie Warren who lives in Shrewsbury. She has been reluctant to talk about Relf and the money she was said to have loaned him that he failed to repay.

The Time to Stop Being a Victim of a Con Artist is Here and Now

Being a victim is easy, but to stop being one and taking a stand takes courage. It is hard to gain back your pride, dignity, and sometimes your reputation that predators seem to assimulate from the very depth of your soul.

I am tired of being a victim and tired of being coined a bitter woman. My mission is all about getting justice done. I learned that even Montel Williams didn't think that justice is done sometimes after taping his show in New York City last week. 

For a victim to stop being a victim they do need help! I may not have a lot of resources, but my goal and work will be toward putting those predators who prey on unsuspecting victims, in jail -- their rightful place to be. These people are sociopaths, and they have no conscience.

ARE YOU TIRED OF BEING A VICTIM? Now is the time to stand up and say YES I am tired of being a victim and JUSTICE will prevail.  I may not have any money, but I can give you all the help that I can do sincerely and from the bottom of my heart. Phil Haberman claims he fought with special forces in Iraq, but he's about as real as Rambo

She spotted her blind date right away: the clean-cut guy in the black T-shirt that said Special Forces. 

Kristen Rhoad had first come into contact with Phil Haberman on MATCH.com in December 2003. One screen name he favored was 19thSFguy--an allusion to his role in Army Special Forces. A self-described adrenaline junkie who loved everything from "skydiving to swimming with sharks," Haberman listed his income as $50,000 to $75,000 a year and claimed he didn't party, smoke or drink. He sounded honorable, manly, stable. Guess what...he's not!

Other women met Haberman through Match.com or other dating sites. After his return, he updated his "OceanLuvnGuy" profile on MilitarySingles.com, checking "single; never been married" and adding: "I was wounded in Iraq and have a lot of free time on my hands now. I'm healing up from my wounds...and am currently with Army Special Forces."

That's how Bonny Bentley met him. "He was complaining, 'no one's come to see me, my family has disowned me,'" says Bentley, a successful 42-year-old woman who lives in Atlanta. Feeling sorry for him, Bentley flew to Fort Bragg in October 2004 for the weekend.

When Haberman picked her up at the airport, he was limping and looked pitiful. "He was very wounded abdominally," Bentley said. "His prostate was torn. He was in bad shape."

But his wounds didn't preclude romance. Bentley ruefully admits she had sex with him. 

Though he had a billet in a hotel on base, Haberman lived in a nice house with a pool that he and a female roommate rented in Fayetteville. "He didn't want the military to know he wasn't living on base," Bentley says. As the weekend progressed, Haberman told her he was going through a horrible annulment and was being prosecuted for AWOL because his wife had complained to his commander. Could he borrow $5,000 for attorney's fees?

"I felt sorry for him," Bentley says. "Here's this poor soldier wounded in Iraq, and the military was doing him a great injustice." She wired him the money the next week.

But when Bentley e-mailed Haberman a request to sign a statement saying he would pay the money back, he turned on her in anger, saying she was "just like all the rest." He ended all contact, Bentley says. In early August, Bentley filed a lawsuit against Haberman for fraud. Bentley says, "I can't believe I fell for this shit."
