Charles Edward "Ed" Hicks was arrested on Sunday, January 8, 2006, the second time in less than one month in Charlotte, North Carolina. On December 30, Ed Hicks was returned to Chesapeake, VA from Charlotte's Mecklenburg County Jail after he was arrested on December 12 on a fugitive warrant from Chesapeake. On late Saturday January 7, Ed Hicks was released on a surety bond, which meant he could not leave the Commonwealth of Virginia.
At approximately 11:30 AM on Sunday, January 7, Ed Hicks showed up at his former girlfriend's apartment, Barbara Grant, in Charlotte, NC. He was trying to kick the door in, according to Barbara. Barbara immediately called the Charlotte police. Later in the afternoon, Ed Hicks was arrested in Charlotte...again.
An extradition hearing was held Tuesday, January 10 at 1 pm. Check the Mecklenburg County Inmate search for the latest information. Hicks waived extradition and will be returned to Chesapeake, VA.

Hi Sandra! You go girl! I've heard people say "Never kick a man when he's down", I think they have this all wrong. If you want to kick someone, that's the best time to do it! Especially for old billy goat gruff here! You are saving lives girl and don't ever forget that.

'Raisin-Brain' Hicks really doesn't get it. TYPICAL PSYCHOPATH!! He's on a surety bond not to leave the state and he LEAVES THE STATE within the first hour or so of being out.
Lock him up and throw away the key!!
