Charles Edward "Ed" Hicks' trial is scheduled for Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 10 AM in the Circuit Court of Chesapeake, Virginia. Hicks was appointed a public defender and currently faces three charges:
- Failure to Appear (Class 1 misdemeanor; Virginia Code 18.2-456)
- Violation of Bond (Class 1 misdemeanor; Virginia Code 18.2-456)
- Bigamy for Ed Hicks' marriages to Rose Hicks
and Julie Flint-Hicks (Class 4 felony; Virginia Code
18.2-362)

Ed Hicks was indicted by a Chesapeake VA Circuit Court Grand Jury on December 6, 2005. Hicks was arrested in Charlotte, NC on a fugitive warrant from Chesapeake, VA on December 12, 2005. He was released on a surety bond in Chesapeake on January 7 and fled to North Carolina, violating his bond, where he was arrested again on January 8, 2006 and spent ten days in the Mecklenburg County jail. Ed Hicks is now in the Chesapeake Correctional Center.
Hicks, a management analyst, is employed by the Federal Government, Army Publishing Directorate in Alexandria, VA.
I am so glad this asshole is going to trial, let's put him away for awhile! After all the wives found him, caught him, he hopefully will never hurt anyone again!
